The much anticipated Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai has opened its doors to instantly become one of the most glamourous hotels in China’s most fashionable city.
Bvlgari’s latest luxury hotel launched to great fanfare on the banks of Suzhou Creek last week, becoming the sixth property of Bvlgari’s hospitality collection.
This new addition comes after the first Bvlgari Chinese property opened in Beijing in September 2017. You can also find hotels from the luxury Italian brand in Milan, Bali, London and Dubai.
Built within the majestically restored Chamber of Commerce building dating from 1916 and surrounded by lush gardens, the hotel features 82 beautiful guest rooms, including 19 suites, with stunning views of the iconic Bund, Pudong financial district and the Huangpu River and Suhe Creek.
As with all Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the renowned Italian architectural firm, designed this hotel by “blending the distinctive Italian refinement of Bvlgari with rich layers of Shanghai history.”
On the top floors of the hotel, Il Bar, Il Ristorante Niko Romito, and La Terrazza rooftop restaurant, featuring a 360° aerial view of the Bund and Shanghai’s iconic skyline, are set to be the place to enjoy the best of the city’s lifestyle.
There’s also a stunning 2,000 square metre Spa & retreats with a 25-metre indoor heated pool, 8 treatment rooms, and a WORKSHOP Gymnasium (featuring state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, private training and yoga studio.
