Founded in Toronto, Canada in 1960 by Isadore Sharp, whose relatives still play a prominent role in the operations of Four Seasons to this day. The first luxury Four Seasons hotel was the Four Seasons London, which opened in 1970.
Nowadays, with such luminaries Bill Gates and Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal as majority shareholders, the company continues to go from strength to strength.
