Är det något mer som fått meddelande rörande en möjlig Class Action Lawsuit mot AVIS i Florida?

UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT MIDDLE DISTRICT OJ"' FLORIDA
Heather Venerus, et. al. v. Avis Budget, et. al. Case No. 6:13-CV-921-CEM-GJK
NOTICE OF PENDENCY OF CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

On March 29, 2019, the U.S District Court for the Middle District of Florida (the "District Court") certified a class action against Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC and Budget Rent a Car Systems, LLC ("Avis Budget"). The case, Venerus v. Avis Budget., alleges that Avis Budget breached its contracts with certain customers who came from outside the United States and rented a vehicle in Florida by not providing such customers with an insurance policy promised by the rental contract.

Who's Included? You may be a member of a class action (a "Class Member") if: (1) you rented a vehicle in the State of Florida from Avis or Budget after June 12, 2008 and before January 1, 2016; and (2) you rented the vehicle pursuant to a prepaid voucher. If you submitted an insurance claim for liability and/or uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage ("UM"), and Avis Budget paid for such claim ( or if you currently have an outstanding claim), you are not a class member. If you did not submit an insurance claim (for example, because you did not suffer an accident while renting the vehicle ), you may be a class member. You received this Notice because Avis Budget's records indicate you may be a Class Member.

What is the case about? This Class Action seeks to recover amounts Plaintiff alleges that Class Members paid for a supplemental/ additional liability insurance policy as part of their rental con:tract with Avis Budget which policy they claim Avis Budget never provided to them in breach of the rental contracts. Avis Budget denies all the breach of contract allegations. Detailed information about the certified Class can be found on the website below.

What are my Options? If you want to stay in the case you do not need to do anything. If you do not want to participate in this case or want to file your own lawsuit, you must mail a letter to Venerus v. Avis c/o Class Administrator, PO Box 168,Warminster PA 18974- 0168, stating that you want to be excluded from Venerus v. Avis Budget. Be sure to include your name and address, and sign the letter. Your request to be excluded must be postmarked by April 6, 2021. If you do not exclude yourself from this case, you will be legally bound by the decisions of the District Court and the final outcome of the lawsuit. If you exclude yourself, you will not participate in any favorable result from the litigation, but will retain all rights relating to claims you may have. An exclusion request form is available at www.AvisBudgetFloridalnsuranceClassAction.com.

Do I need to hire a lawyer? The District Court has appointed attorneys Ed Normand and Jacob Phillips (Normand PLLC) and Chris Lynch, (Christopher J. Lynch, P.A.) to represent the Class. You may, but are not required to, enter an appearance through an attorney in this case at your own expense.

Blir inte riktigt klok på detta så tänkte jag skulle kolla om det är någon mer här som fått samma meddelande?
