The charming French alpine resort of Megève was already a pretty attractive winter destination, with its fine skiing and exclusive atmosphere. And now you have another reason to visit – the opening of the new Four Seasons Hotel Megève.
Open since mid-December, The first Four Seasons mountain experience in Europe is the fruit of the first collaboration between the Four Seasons and Edmond de Rothschild. It is located the slopes of Mont d’Arbois, just a few minutes from the picturesque village of Megève and its medieval cobbled streets.
Home to 55 chic rooms and suites – many with a fireplace and balconies, all with incredible mountain and valley views – the hotel offers a contemporary and luxurious chalet experience.
Guests can start their day with a lung full of fresh alpine air by taking a swim in the opulent indoor-outdoor swimming pool, complete with massage jets, underwater music, and even a poolside fireplace.
Later, ski from the slopes into the 900 sqm spa, the biggest around, where you’ll find six treatment rooms – including a VIP couple’s suite sauna and steam – a salon and fitness centre. A number of unique treatments are available to guests, such as a Sodashi Asian-European Fusion Body Massage, Swiss Perfection facial treatments, as well as osteopathy and physiotherapy sessions on request.
In the evening, head to the hotel’s Le 1920, Megève’s renowned two-Michelin starred restaurant, a favourite of locals and visitors alike, which has been relocated to the Four Seasons Hotel Megève.
The Four Seasons Hotel Megève is open seasonally, each winter between December 15 and April 15, and each summer from June 1 to September 30.
