Get Curve. Go Shopping. Win Big this Black Friday

Get Curve. Go Shopping. Win Big this Black Friday.
Black Friday is absurd. It’s the biggest shopping event of the year— a time where you can quite literally shop ‘til you drop (we don’t recommend this). It’s the time for you to live out your wildest fantasies and finally get that 4K 60” TV complete with Smell-O-Vision and built-in complimentary mint dispenser you’ve always dreamed of owning.

To get into the spirit of absurdity, we’re giving away a whopping £15,000—everything must go! To have a chance of getting a piece of that sweet 15K pie, just make a transaction (only shopping based transactions count) with your Curve card on Black Friday and it could be you who wins anything from £20-£1000 in Curve Cash. (For terms, head to the end)

Heads up!
We're making some changes to our terms of service, fee schedule and privacy policy.

First up, debit-fronted credit
What’s that? Debit-fronted credit is a really handy service that lets you pay with your credit card when only debit cards are accepted, or when doing so has a fee attached. For the most part, you can use this service free of charge.

I feel a “but” coming on…
You're right – there’s a but. For our Curve Blue and Curve Black customers, government-based payments made with a credit card e.g. HMRC, will now carry a 1.5% fee. Don’t worry if you accidentally pay with a credit card – you can use our Go Back in Time feature to switch the payment to a debit card without incurring the fee. The fees will apply from the 24th of January, 2020. You can read the full details around this here.

Changes to privacy?
Yes, we’re updating our privacy policy to explain how we share data with other companies. This is so that we can create more amazing features, and tell you all about them. This will come into effect in 15 days, on December 10, 2019. If you want to opt out, get in touch at support@curve.app.

Something big is coming…
We have an exciting new feature coming very very soon, so keep an eye out!

Got questions?
Get in touch at support@curve.app

Thanks for your support of Curve and for being one of our early adopters.

Have a great week!

Team Curve

Debit Fronted Credit – Curve
_______________
We are starting with HMRC*. Other government payments will be included in the future, such as National Savings & Investments, DVLA Vehicle Tax, and Student Loan Payments when using a credit card as a funding card

If you are charged a fee, you can have it refunded by using GBIT and charging the transaction to an underlying debit card. This has to be requested within 14 days by contacting Customer Support. The £1.000 limit will not apply in this case.

*HMRC
