Located on the seahorse-shaped Jumeirah Bay Island, which connects to central Dubai by a 300m bridge, Bulgari Dubai has a laid-back Mediterranean village feel and comprises six residential buildings with 173 sea-facing apartments and 15 private mansions.
There are 101 guest rooms and suites in the resort, along with 20 Bulgari villas with their own private pool, garden and sea-view.
The extensive complex also features a 50-berth private marina the world’s first Bulgari Yacht Club.
Other impressive facilities at the hotel include a spa with traditional-style hammam, indoor pool, fitness centre, beauty salon, traditional barbershop and hairdresser.
The cabana-lined swimming pool, hammam and relaxation areas are adorned with real gold mosaic tiles, green onyx and Afyon marble.
The hotel’s glitzy opening saw a number of famous faces in attendance, including models Bella Hadid and Jasmine Sander, Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander, and model and actor, Jon Kortajarena. Along with other notable names from Dubai and beyond, they spent the night dining on fine food, enjoying ballet and dancing beneath the stars.
